About Fernanda

Hi, I’m Fernanda, but most people call me Nanda. I’m a Brazilian-trained psychologist and a registered counsellor in Australia (ACA). With nearly 10 years of experience working in human resources and people development. Now living in Australia, I blend my clinical background with my own immigrant experience to support Brazilians navigating the challenges of life abroad.

Having faced homesickness, cultural adjustments, and identity shifts myself, I know how tough it can be to find balance and belonging in a new country. My approach is practical, compassionate, and tailored to you — helping you build emotional clarity, resilience, and a stronger connection with your authentic self.

Together, we’ll create a safe space to explore your emotions, celebrate your strengths, and develop strategies that fit your unique journey and values. Wherever life takes you, you don’t have to walk this path alone.

Outside of work, I’m passionate about traveling, spending time in nature, and meeting new people and places. I’m also a devoted animal lover — especially cats and dogs — and I believe the bond we share with animals is truly special.
